National Retro Day

It seems that there’s a holiday now for almost everything, and today, February 27, is National Retro Day!

So here’s my retro offerings from the late 1970s, early 1980s; when I started photographing places, had a 28 inch waist, and a full head of hair.

A 4x5 Calumet 4x5 camera, 210mm Sinar lens, loaded with 4x5 TRI-X film which I started using in the late 1970s - how retro is that? If my memory serves me correctly many of these photographs were exhibited at the Chrysler Museum as part of a year long exhibit focusing on local people and places.

Most of these photographs, according to fading old hand written notes, were created around 1980-1981.
