Roanes Store & Post Office
Sitting alone at the crossroads of two country roads this sits as mute testimony to a different era.
Roanes Store and Post Office also served as a boarding house for passengers who were traveling on steamships along the Ware River. There was a wharf for them to disembark, owned by the Roane family.
